DEZKA DIABLO wrote:Not this garbage! Who decided this was a good idea after i paid money for something way different! I bought a apex suit and a respec same day and maxed my smg and my sg for this suit!
So not only did i totally get trolled on the smg, im stuck with a damage mod on a proficiency five sg instead of a shield, im scalable and i have a horrible uplink that nobody wants to wait a day and a half to spawn in on!
So how is that even beneficial to me or my team if nobody will use it?
Really, please fire someone TODAY.
ps. Not ranting just feeling extreamly taken advantage of and not fanboy enough to bend over and accept it either.
So how about you give all apex suits the ability to custom each suit then once the fit is selected its locked forever, because logging in weeks later to see this is completely unacceptable .
First off, CCP Rattati made it clear in the forums that these suits might get changed in fittings based on feedback. In fact, a lot of players in the forums have vigorously complained to CCP about how horrible some of the fittings were. We even read the spreadsheet before the suits came out. Though we understood from the beginning that these fittings were suppose to represent the fitting doctrine of each race based on the Eve Online lore, some of the fittings, including that of the APEX scouts, were put into question.
I have not noticed any changes so far as I have not earned enough LP to get my hands on an APEX scout, but if there were any changes then those changes were expected. However, to be fair with you, if you are not happy with the change, I highly recommend submitting a petition to CCP to see if they can refund you the AUR and take away the APEX suit you originally spent it on so you can spend the AUR on something far more useful for someone at your level.
Second, there are faction variants available and CCP Frame or Rattati made it abundantly clear in the Dev Blogs and forums that there will be faction variants of the APEX suits so you don't have to spend AUR on any of it. Just grind FW until you have 100,000 LP, grind Ambush until you have 10,000,000 ISK and then snatch a faction APEX of your choice. All you would waste is time but at least you didn't spend AUR on it. But since you did spend AUR on it, see if CCP can get you refunded first before you come to the forums.
Now, before anyone around me starts telling me "Maken, I don't have time to grind FW for a suit that has a terrible fit", I'm gonna say this right now: don't give me that excuse. I don't want to hear it. I have been grinding only a 2-3 matches a day solo in FW for Gallente because my patience can only last for a couple of hours a day with Scotty taking so long to queue me up into a match. I would be lucky as hell to even get 10 matches a day with a full squad. I have been grinding since the first day the APEX suits came out and so far I only have 75,000 LP for the Gallente and I reached level 5 in faction rank not too long ago. And that's just for Federation 'Serpent' Scout. I still have my eyes set on the Republic 'Tiger' Scout but I only have not even 400 LP and level 2 for Minmatar FW. I have a long ass way to go and I estimate it will be another month before I can get that. So don't complain to me about waiting for so long.
Why am I grind this much for a suit that I know has a terrible fit? Bragging rights and bling. That's all. I have no concern over the fittings since I'm already flexible as it is with maxed out core skills, trained up every light weapon to level 2-3 with the exception of the shotgun (I have absolutely no SP in that weapon at all) along with maxing out the nova knives, nearly maxing out the SMG, and have every scout suit trained up along with max biotics, max EWAR, max weapon upgrades, etc.
